We have some SUPER exciting news about The Engagement House but more on that later! I recently took a few days off for my Bachelorette party in Florida! I’m lucky enough to have amazing future in-laws that let me and my 6 best friends borrow their house in North Port, Florida. Their house is in a quiet community on a golf course. Perfect for what I wanted – some relaxation and QT with my best gals!

My future MIL is the craftiest person I know and handmade these makeup bags for us! They’re actually made out of old placemats and each had handmade soap inside. Such a fun surprise!

If you know me, you know I LOVE Mexican food. My amazing friends threw me a fiesta themed bachelorette party! Complete with ponchos for the beer bottles, HA!!

Each gal got a personalized water tumbler and these cute little bags had hair ties, chapstick, and hangover relief medicine! Not that any of us needed hangover relief….! 😊

These floating animals were koozies! You can stick your beverage in them and they float along with you. Seriously, my friends thought of everything.

They have a neighborhood alligator that lives in the pond behind their house. Super fun to watch him swim around from the safety of their patio. 🐊

Every time Mike and I visit his parents in Florida, I make a request to go to Sharky’s on the Pier in Venice, Florida. It’s about 20 minutes away from their house and right on the beach. They have great outdoor seating and good food, too. The girls and I made the drive and had a great time hanging on the beach before eating lunch at Sharky’s.

We did get all dressed up to “go out” one night, but truth be told, North Port does NOT have great night life! My friends all wore black dresses and I wore white and they got me this fun sash to wear!

We went out to dinner and got ONE picture and it is so terrible that it’s funny. We had a server take it and he definitely didn’t have the camera in focus. Thanks for the pic, man 🤣

On our last night, we rented a boat and had the best time! We saw so many dolphins and could not have been more excited about it 🤩 We stopped on a little island to walk around and my friend Zain snapped this pic. Feelin’ like Rose from Titanic!
