Dining Room Updates

The dining room updates were mostly cosmetic. We did open up the doorway from the kitchen into the dining room. It used to be a standard 32” opening, but we felt like the two spaces should feel more connected, so we opened up the doorway and made it much larger. We also centered the opening on the wall so it gives a really nice symmetrical look. Other than that, we replaced the carpet with hardwood floor, replaced the wainscoting on the wall with new wainscoting, installed new windows, and painted! Check out the progress below:
