Delta Faucet How-To Videos
how it happened…
Back in 2016, I (Hannah) met a couple of fantastic women who worked at Delta Faucet. At the time we had just started Monarch Homes and were working on our first flip. I told them all about our new business and the house we were flipping. I shared how much we love Delta products and that we were planning on buying all Delta products for our flip. I offered it up as a place for them to photoshoot the products we chose if they wanted. We exchanged contact information and I told them I’d let them know when we were almost finished with the reno. Fast forward months later, I was just about to email them to tell them we were finished when I got an email from one of the women first. She wasn’t reaching out about the photoshoot, bur rather a new opportunity. They were looking for someone or a couple to film how-to installation videos for them and she thought of Mike and I. We told her we were interested and she asked us to audition for it. We were given some brief talking points to look over beforehand. Audition day rolls around and we spend about 3 hours in a studio with a full film crew installing a kitchen faucet together and trying to hit the talking points they asked us to. We both very specifically remember walking out of the studio that day feeling like we had totally bombed the audition, but at least it was a fun experience. Somehow just a couple of days later they called us saying they loved it and we got it! We’ve been shooting how-to videos for Delta since early 2018 and have loved every bit of the experience. We’ve also been able to do fun other things with Delta - like phone recordings! If you ever call Delta Faucet, you’ll hear my voice walking you through the prompts!
